Former Russia national team striker Pavel Pogrebnyak assessed the participation of the “Baltika” team in the initial matches of the current RPL season. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, it will not be easy for “Baltika” to maintain such results over the long term. Nevertheless, the team's results at the beginning of the season are indeed impressive.
Pogrebnyak emphasized that the team's unity and discipline are contributing to these results. The specialist also positively evaluated the work of the coaching staff led by Andrey Talalayev, the head coach of the Kaliningrad team.
In the new season, “Baltika,” making its debut in the Premier League, collected four points in the first two matches. The team drew with Moscow's “Dinamo” (1:1) and defeated “Spartak” with a large score (3:0).
Thus, “Baltika” is showing a good start to the season. In Pogrebnyak's opinion, the team will face difficult challenges ahead, but the current results have pleased the club's fans.
