Chervichenko: When Rostov will earn points is unknown

Andrey Chervichenko, who previously served as president of the capital's "Spartak" team, expressed his views on the events happening at the "Rostov" club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

He noted that the team suffered defeat in the national championship for the third consecutive time. In the last match, they missed an opportunity against the "Krylya Sovetov" team in Samara.

According to Chervichenko, "Rostov" did not perform poorly in the first two matches. Additionally, in the cup match, the team fought hard, but after Odoyevskiy made a mistake, the outcome of the game changed negatively.

The expert believes that perhaps the players have lost their confidence and as a result, are unable to find their game. It remains unknown when they will regain control and start accumulating points.

Currently, the head coach of the "Rostov" team is Spanish specialist Jonatan Alba. He has been part of the club's coaching staff since 2018, but started working independently as head coach from February of this year.

It should also be noted that during this season, although "Rostov" recently reached the final of the Russian Cup, they lost several key players from the squad. This situation is negatively affecting the team's results.
