Former CSKA player from Tashkent, Aleksandr Grishin, shared his thoughts on the game of the "Orenburg" team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
On August 3, under the leadership of Vladimir Slishkovich, "Orenburg" lost 2:3 to "Baltika" from Kaliningrad in the third round of the Russian championship. According to Aleksandr Grishin, it is evident what Slishkovich expects from the players.
In his opinion, the style of play of "Orenburg" resembles that of the "Spartak" team during the Titov era. However, Grishin emphasized that there are not enough qualified players in Slishkovich's squad.
After this match, the "Orenburg" team is in eleventh place in the league table with two points. Last season, the team finished in fifteenth place in the table.
Nevertheless, due to the disqualification of the "Torpedo" team, "Orenburg" managed to remain in the Russian Premier League. Despite the unsatisfactory results, head coach Slishkovich continues his work.
