Xomuxa: Zenit goalkeeper is not to blame for the goal

Former football player Dmitriy Khomuha, who played for CSKA Moscow and Zenit St. Petersburg, commented on the recent match where Zenit goalkeeper Evgeniy Latyshonok conceded a goal. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The match took place within the third round of the Russian Championship – RPL, where Zenit and CSKA played to a 1:1 draw. Dmitriy Khomuha emphasized that the goalkeeper was not at fault in this situation.

According to him, the opponent delivered a strong and precise shot, which made it very difficult for the goalkeeper to respond to the ball. In Khomuha's opinion, it was almost impossible for the goalkeeper to keep the ball in this situation.

After this game, Zenit and CSKA have both collected five points, occupying the sixth and seventh places in the Russian Championship table, respectively. Zenit goalkeeper Evgeniy Latyshonok is a graduate of the Krasnodar football school and has been with Zenit since last year.

In the current season, he has played in three matches, conceding four goals, and has yet to keep a clean sheet.
