Football expert Sergey Silkin recently shared his thoughts on the results of the recent round of the Russian championship. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, the “Krasnodar” team won a narrow victory over “Dinamo.” Silkin noted that he expected a good result from “Dinamo,” but the team was unable to create many chances in attack.
In his opinion, the opponent's defense was stronger than “Dinamo's” attack, indicating that the team's forward line has not yet found the right rhythm. Silkin also commented on “Spartak's” inability to win against “Akron” away.
He emphasized the necessity of taking any opponent seriously, noting that considering oneself superior could lead to losing points. “Spartak” players may not have fully assessed their opponent.
It was mentioned that “Krasnodar” has been overestimating itself in recent games and has been treating opponents differently since winning the championship. According to Silkin, retaining the championship is more difficult than winning it.
Opinions were also expressed regarding the match between “Zenit” and CSKA. Many considered “Zenit” the favorite, but the team has not yet been able to demonstrate a cohesive team performance.
The foreign players in the “Zenit” squad are not fully showcasing their potential. Therefore, it was emphasized that the team has internal problems.
“Lokomotiv,” after its next victory, is leading the tournament table. Silkin positively noted that this team has strengthened over the summer, has not changed coaches, and is consistently working on transfers.
However, it was pointed out that every team prepares to the maximum against “Lokomotiv,” so they need to withstand this pressure. It was stated that unity within the team and the adaptation of experienced players to the team are crucial.
