Former coach of the "Spartak" team Valeriy Gladilin commented on the remarks made by the team's legend Evgeniy Lovchev regarding defender Daniil Xlusevich in an interview with an online publication. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The specialist emphasized that he loves intelligent players, but criticized the negative comments made about Xlusevich's game. Gladilin stated that such harsh words should not be used regarding players.
According to him, Lovchev's remarks may be based on emotions. He stressed that a defender must always remain calm and not let emotions overpower reason.
It seems that Xlusevich lacks these qualities and needs to work on them. According to Gladilin, the "Spartak" team had the opportunity to win, but due to Xlusevich's actions, the team was left with ten players on the field.
For reference, in the third round of the Russian championship, defender Daniil Xlusevich received a red card at the end of the first half in the match against "Akron." The Moscow club has accumulated four points and is currently in eleventh place in the tournament table.
