“Rubin” team head coach Rashid Rahimov shared his thoughts after the match against “Sochi.” This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
In the post-match interview, he first spoke about Ilya Rozhkov's condition. According to him, Rozhkov has not fully recovered and showed signs of fatigue during the match.
Especially at the end of the first half, fatigue was evident in his movements. The coach mentioned that there is no specific information about the player's injury, but he expects Rozhkov's condition to improve in the coming days.
The player indicated that he would stay on the field for another 15-20 minutes during the break and then be substituted. The coach also commented on Mirlind Daku.
In his opinion, Daku played well today and scored two goals. Especially, the second goal was executed beautifully.
Daku actively contributed to the team by scoring and assisting during the game. Overall, he demonstrated a good and quality performance.
Team captain Oleg Ivanov turned 39 today. The coach said it would be nice if this victory was dedicated to Ivanov and noted that the players could gather tomorrow to congratulate him around a festive table.
Rahimov also commented on the good start of “Rubin.” He mentioned that it is difficult to maintain consistent effort and discipline over a long period, and that there is insufficient internal competition and reserve players in the team.
In response to a question about the arrival of new players, the coach emphasized that this process should not stop, but noted that recently few new players have joined the team.
