Said Abdulla-khan became an ordinary worker in Krivoy Rog
Said Abdulla-khan, the last ruler of the Khiva Khanate, ended his life far from the palace and power. This was reported by Upl.uz.

His fate shows how drastically life can change. Said Abdulla-khan was born in 1871 and ruled the khanate in 1918, but his reign did not last long.

The Khiva Khanate ended in 1920 due to its overthrow by the Bolsheviks. After that, a new era began in his life, filled with many difficulties and changes.

Due to political pressures against him, Said Abdulla-khan was imprisoned and later exiled to the city of Krivoy Rog, located in the territory of Ukraine within the USSR. In this city, he worked as a guard at a mine called "Bol’shevik."

Krivoy Rog had never been part of Russia but was located within the territory of the Soviet Union. After abdicating the throne in February 1920, he fell under the control of the Cheka and was kept in several camps.

After being released in 1922, he sought a place to work with his family, but initially could not find a job. Then they moved to an agricultural sovkhoz and came to Krivoy Rog in 1924, where he started working as a mine guard.

Living in Krivoy Rog was not easy. He did not speak Russian or Ukrainian, which made it difficult to integrate and communicate with the local population.

The locals called him "Khan," but this was not a sign of respect for his former status, rather it was a nickname. He and his family lived in simple conditions.

In 1933, Said Abdulla-khan contracted dysentery and was treated in the mine hospital, but died a month later. His death was caused by a combination of illness and hunger.

He was buried in the local cemetery in Krivoy Rog. Some sources incorrectly state his place of death as Moscow, but historians confirm that his last days were indeed spent in Krivoy Rog.

His family also remained in this city. Interestingly, his nephew Abdurashul Madyarov married in Krivoy Rog, built a house, and has been living there.

Said Abdulla-khan's son later moved to the city of Osh, but he also faced difficulties, even serving a prison sentence. Like other rulers, Said Abdulla-khan was forced to work in ordinary jobs after losing his rule.

This holds significant importance in his personal history as well as in the political changes of that time. Krivoy Rog was an industrial center at that time, and working in the mines was difficult and arduous.

Despite the challenges related to his former status and age, he tried to adapt to his new life. His death in 1933 marks the end of the life path of the last ruler from the direct descendants of the Khiva Khanate.

To better understand historical events, it is important to consider the sequence of events. In 1920, he was captured and exiled.

From 1920 to 1922, he was kept in camps. Starting from 1922, although under supervision, he achieved some freedom.

In 1924, he started working in Krivoy Rog and died in 1933. These dates and events illustrate the drastic changes in his life.

Historical sources, including encyclopedias and reliable websites, confirm his life and the period of exile. Some incorrect information, such as references to Moscow, arises from the confusion due to his brief time in Russia.

Said Abdulla-khan is a descendant of the Chinggisid lineage and his death in 1933 marks the end of the direct rule of the Chinggisid descendants in the Khiva Khanate
