Russian football specialist Dmitriy Cheryshev expressed his opinion about the activities of Sergey Semak, the head coach of St. Petersburg's "Zenit" team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He noted that Semak is doing his job very well. According to Cheryshev, it is important for Semak to coach for as long as possible and to bring results.
In the expert's opinion, the "Zenit" team may struggle a bit at the beginning of the season, but later it will return to its traditionally strong level. For reference, last season the St. Petersburg club finished second in the Russian championship.
Previously, under Semak's leadership, the team won the championship six times in a row. In the new season of the Russian Premier League, "Zenit" has collected five points after three matches.
Experts have various opinions regarding the team's results. However, most express confidence in Semak's experience and the team's strong performance.
"Zenit" is expected to delight its fans with even higher results ahead.
