Former Moscow “Dinamo” player and Russian national team player Dmitriy Bulykin expressed his opinion on whether the “belo-goluboylar” can be considered the main club of our national team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to Bulykin, it is not correct to recognize “Dinamo” as the main club of the Russian national team in its current state. He cited the “Lokomotiv” team as an example, emphasizing that there is only one foreign player in this club.
In Bulykin's opinion, such a situation does not exist at “Dinamo.” He stated that if the “Dinamo” management tries to increase the number of Russian players in the team, he would support this initiative.
Currently, according to Transfermarkt data, there are 12 players from various national teams in the “Dinamo” team, of which 7 are Russian players. Additionally, head coach Valeriy Karpin has been working simultaneously with the “Dinamo” club and the Russian national team since June of this year.
This situation could further strengthen the ties between the club and the national team.
