Cherchesov commented on his coaching of "Akmat"

In recent days, reports have emerged in the media that Stanislav Cherchesov may soon sign a contract with the "Akhmat" football club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Regarding this, the 61-year-old specialist provided a brief comment. According to Cherchesov, he received a call from the "Akhmat" club, but there are no further updates at the moment.

For reference, Stanislav Cherchesov has previously worked with this club. He served as the head coach of the "Akhmat" team in Grozny from 2011 to 2013.

Currently, Cherchesov is not coaching any team. At the beginning of this year, he left his coaching position with the Kazakhstan national team.

He did not work with this national team for long. "Akhmat" started the current season unsuccessfully.

The team lost all four matches played in the Russian Premier League and the country’s Cup. For this reason, the club's management officially announced the termination of cooperation with Aleksandr Storozhuk.

There is currently no official information on who will be the new head coach of "Akhmat." Cherchesov's candidacy is being mentioned as the main contender.
