Barcelona Football Club will not be able to hold the Joan Gamper trophy match at the "Camp Nou" stadium. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The reason is that the club has not yet obtained the necessary license. Nevertheless, according to reports from the Spanish press, there has been significant progress in the construction work being carried out at the stadium.
Club representatives hope to obtain the required permits at the beginning of September. If the license is granted, partial admission of fans to the stadium will be allowed.
Additionally, there is a high probability that Barcelona will host the Valencia club in a La Liga match at their home ground in mid-September. Up to 30,000 to 45,000 spectators may be allowed into the stadium for this match.
By October, the stadium's capacity is planned to be increased to 60,000 fans. The full opening of the Camp Nou stadium and the completion of all reconstruction work is expected to be finalized next summer.
Thus, Barcelona will have the opportunity to welcome its fans back to a full stadium. The club management is working to complete all tasks as quickly as possible.
