Representatives of the Akron football club from the city of Tolyatti have announced that building their home stadium is currently not a priority task for the club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The club management is planning to focus on other areas for now. According to Akron football club's general director Konstantin Klyushev, the most important direction for the club at the moment is the development of sports infrastructure.
In particular, improving the training base and the activities of the football academy is being prioritized to create a solid foundation in these areas. For reference, the Akron team is currently in its second season in the top league of Russian football.
According to last season's results, the Tolyatti club finished in ninth place. In the current season, based on the results of the last three rounds, Akron has managed to accumulate five points.
The club drew with the teams "Krylya Sovetov" and "Spartak," while defeating the "Sochi" club. The club management aims to continue prioritizing sports infrastructure in the future, striving to create modern conditions for players and youth.
