According to Sergey Kiryakov, if Stanislav Cherchesov fails to achieve positive results as the head coach of the Grozny football team “Akhmat,” it could negatively impact his reputation. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Kiryakov emphasizes that Cherchesov recently could not achieve success with the Kazakhstan national team either. If he cannot show results with “Akhmat” as well, while it may not be a huge risk, it is not out of the question that it could significantly damage his coaching reputation.
For reference, the “Akhmat” team officially announced Cherchesov's return on August 6, Wednesday. The 61-year-old Russian coach had previously worked as the head coach of this club 12 years ago.
Currently, “Akhmat” has also lost in the first four matches of the new football season. These results have created a difficult situation for the team.
The club management and fans are expecting Cherchesov to lead the team out of the crisis. The new coach faces a challenging task, and his results are expected to become clear in the coming weeks.
