
Newcastle football club is working on acquiring Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The club's main transfer target, RB Leipzig forward Benjamin Sesko, has chosen Manchester United. Therefore, Newcastle is now considering other candidates to strengthen their attack line.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, the club has held initial negotiations with Nicolas Jackson. Chelsea's management does not want to sell Jackson and is demanding approximately £80 million (around €92 million) for the forward.
On the Transfermarkt website, Nicolas Jackson's value is listed as €50 million. Last season, Jackson, who was a member of the Senegal national team, played 37 matches for Chelsea across all competitions, scoring 13 goals and providing 6 assists.
Currently, Newcastle is continuing negotiations regarding this transfer. The club is trying to choose the best option to strengthen their attack line.
