Barcelona football club goalkeeper Inyaki Penya is being considered as a primary transfer target by the Italian Serie B team Como. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to reports, the Como team is led by the famous Spanish coach Cesc Fabregas. Fabregas previously played for Barcelona and is now trying to invite his compatriot Penya to his team.
In Barcelona, the new head coach Hans-Dieter Flick is prioritizing Joan Garcia and Vojtech Šesh for the goalkeeper position. For this reason, Inyaki Penya has decided to leave the club, but he has not yet determined which team he will continue his career with.
Last season, Inyaki Penya played a total of twenty-three matches for Barcelona, conceding twenty-five goals. According to the Transfermarkt website, the market value of the 26-year-old goalkeeper is eight million euros.
Therefore, the Como team has started efforts to add Penya to their ranks. Negotiations regarding this transfer are ongoing.
