
Valery Kechinov, a former player of the Spartak team in the capital, expressed his opinion on the news of Stanislav Cherchesov's appointment as the head coach of the Akhmat team in Grozny. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to the expert, the return of an experienced coach can have a positive impact on the situation in the team and the club. He emphasized that the team currently needs such a coach and that Cherchesov's arrival will help improve results.
Kechinov stated that it is now important to motivate the team and achieve results. He expressed no doubt that Cherchesov can get the players moving.
For information, this week the Grozny team officially announced Cherchesov's appointment as head coach. Previously, this position was held by Alexander Storozhuk.
Stanislav Cherchesov has previously worked at this club when it was called Terak. Additionally, he has coached the national teams of Russia and Kazakhstan, as well as Poland's Legia and Hungary's Ferencváros.
Currently, after three rounds of the Russian championship, the Grozny club is in 13th place in the standings and has not yet scored any points. In the next round, Akhmat will play against Zenit from Saint Petersburg at home.
