Chervichenko: "The poor start of Rostov is due to tough opponents"

Football expert Andrey Chervichenko commented on the unsuccessful performance of the "Rostov" team in the initial rounds of the Russian championship. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

In his opinion, the team's poor results were caused by a challenging schedule. According to Chervichenko, "Rostov" was expected to win only one of the four matches – against "Krylya Sovetov".

The other three matches were very difficult, with opponents being "Zenit", "Dinamo", and "Spartak". For this reason, Chervichenko emphasized that it is too early to draw definitive conclusions about "Rostov" at this stage.

This season, "Rostov" has not earned any points in three matches in the Russian Premier League. Additionally, the team led by Jonatan Alba lost to "Spartak" 0:2 in the Russian Cup.

Currently, "Rostov" is in 14th place in the Premier League standings. Experts believe that the team's initial results are mainly related to facing difficult opponents.
