Russian coach Vyacheslav Chanov commented on the news that Matvey Safonov may leave the Paris club – PSG. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

He noted that Safonov has all the opportunities to continue his career in Europe. According to him, Safonov had a good performance last season, and his game cannot be considered unsuccessful.

Additionally, the specialist stated that Safonov's move to PSG was an important step for his development. For reference, goalkeeper Matvey Safonov joined the Paris club in the summer of 2024.
