Vladimir Bystrov, a former player of the Russian national team, expressed his opinion about Stanislav Cherchesov being appointed as the head coach of the Grozny football club "Akmat." This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, Cherchesov's arrival is good news. Bystrov stated that perhaps the new coach will bring new players to the team and a budget will be allocated.
"Akmat" has always been a strong team, and these changes will definitely be beneficial for the team, Bystrov emphasized. For reference, Stanislav Cherchesov previously served as head coach in Grozny from 2011 to 2013.
In recent months, since winter, the 61-year-old specialist has not been coaching. He was dismissed from the Kazakhstan national team during the winter season.
At the start of the new season, "Akmat" suffered four consecutive defeats under the leadership of Aleksandr Storojuk. Therefore, the club's management decided to make changes in the coaching staff and placed their trust in the experienced specialist Stanislav Cherchesov.
Cherchesov is expected to help improve the team's results and achieve the goals set by "Akmat."
