Real Madrid has terminated the contract with attacking midfielder Reyner, who has moved to Brazil's Atletico Mineiro. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
This was announced through the official website of the Spanish club. The 23-year-old Brazilian player has transferred to his new team for free.
However, according to the previous agreement, Real Madrid will retain half of the transfer fee if Reyner is sold to another club in the future. It is worth noting that Reyner joined Real from Flamengo for 30 million euros at the beginning of 2020.
At that time, he was recognized as a promising young player, and there were high expectations for him. However, Reyner was unable to fully showcase himself in Europe.
He played on loan at Germany's Borussia Dortmund, Spain's Girona, and Italy's Frosinone and Granada. Nevertheless, he did not appear in any official matches for the Madrid team.
Reyner will now continue his career in his home country.
