“Chelsea” football club striker David Datro Fofana may continue his career in the French championship. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The player is being pursued by the clubs “Nice” and “Toulouse.” Local sources have reported this.
According to sources, the French clubs are discussing the terms of transferring the player with “Chelsea.” The “Toulouse” club is ready to pay 4-5 million euros to acquire the striker, but the club management is not confident that they can meet Fofana's salary demands.
Additionally, the “Nice” club wants to take the player on loan with an option to buy later. However, the “Chelsea” management is inclined to sell the player outright.
Last season, Fofana played in nine matches for Turkey's “Gyoztepe” team and managed to score two goals. During the winter transfer window, the “Chelsea” club management recalled the striker from loan and brought him back to their squad.
Currently, negotiations are ongoing regarding which club Fofana will transfer to. His future activities are expected to be clarified in the coming days.
