The head coach of the "Liverpool" team, Arne Slot, commented on the club's activities in the summer transfer market. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, the team spent nearly 300 million euros this season to acquire new players. Arne Slot emphasized that there have not been significant changes in the squad over the past two years.
For this reason, a substantial amount of funds was allocated to refresh the team and inject new energy into it. According to the head coach, four players from the main squad and several key players for the team have left the club.
Some of them, particularly Trent, left the team at their own request. As a result, "Liverpool" was forced to acquire new players.
In Slot's opinion, these changes are crucial for the team's success in the upcoming season. For reference, in the first round of the English championship, "Liverpool" will face the "Bournemouth" team at home.
The match will take place on August 15 of this year, Friday.
