Can Lokomotiv maintain its leadership in the long championship?

The Russian sports expert Yuri Belous expressed his opinion about the opportunities of the "Lokomotiv" team in the new season. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

He acknowledged that the team started the championship well. According to Belous, the "Lokomotiv" players have actively begun the season, and young players – including Batrakov and other talented footballers – are showcasing their skills.

As a result of their efforts, the team participated successfully in the initial rounds. However, in Belous's opinion, the strength of youth alone may not be sufficient for a long-term championship.

Because strong teams like "Zenit," "Spartak," and "Dinamo" are also recovering their game and actively participating in the championship. Last season, despite "Lokomotiv" starting the championship well, they finished the competition in sixth place.

This season, in the Russian Premier League, "Lokomotiv" has achieved four consecutive victories and is leading in the tournament table. These results indicate that the team has prepared well.

At the same time, increased competition is expected throughout the championship.
