Rahimov: There are no objections to the Rubin players, the lineup has not changed

The head coach of Kazan city's "Rubin" football team, Rashid Rahimov, shared his thoughts after the match against St. Petersburg's "Zenit" team in the second round of the Russian Cup group stage. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The match ended unsuccessfully for the "Rubin" team with a score of 0:3. In his interview, Rahimov emphasized that he had no complaints about the players, noting that they acted disciplined and selflessly.

He mentioned that there has been almost no activity in the transfer market over the past year and that maximum benefit is being derived from the existing squad. The coach also pointed out that if this situation continues for a long time, it could lead to negative consequences.

He added that if it is convenient for the team, the situation may not change. Currently, the "Rubin" team is in second place in their group with 3 points.

The "Zenit" team is in first place with 6 points. The "Akmat" and "Orenburg" teams have played one match each and have not collected any points.

On August 17, "Rubin" will face the "Rostov" team in the national championship.
