The head coach of the "Baltika" team, Andrey Talalayev, shared his thoughts after the match against "Lokomotiv." This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The result of the match was not positive for us. It can be said immediately after the game that our team was able to show its unique style of play, but it was not sufficiently evident in the first half.
At the beginning of the match, the opponent quickly gained the upper hand, and there were difficulties in getting into the game in the first half. The "Lokomotiv" team acted effectively in attack and took the lead in the score in a short time.
There were questions regarding the referee's decisions in some situations, but this was not the main factor affecting the outcome of the game. As a coach, I am pleased with my team's performance, especially in the second half.
The players actively participated in the struggle, trying to show themselves in defense and attack. There was a lack of creativity and skill in the forward line, and our game-changing players did not step onto the field today.
Nevertheless, I positively assess the team's effort, determination, and drive in the game. In the second half, the team acted well in a short period, which gives hope for the future.
Some players are still unable to fully demonstrate their potential, but they need time. I believe they will adapt to the team and show high results.
