The former president of Tashkent's Spartak football club, Andrey Chervichenko, has expressed critical views on the current head coach Dejan Stankovich's performance. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, Stankovich is unable to control himself in almost every match and acts nervously. This is negatively affecting the players' morale.
Chervichenko believes that the coach's inability to maintain composure disrupts the mental state of the team members. In the last match, Spartak missed the opportunity in a penalty shootout against Mahachkala Dynamo at home.
This competition took place within the group stage of the Russian Cup. After four rounds of the new season of the Russian championship, the team led by Stankovich has only accumulated four points and is currently in 11th place in the tournament table.
In the next round, Spartak will face the CSKA team in Moscow. The club's fans are dissatisfied with the results and are expecting positive changes from the coach.
The current situation is said to be causing problems in achieving the goals set for the team.
