In Enfield, Jota and his brother's memory was commemorated

Before the start of the English Premier League, an emotional event dedicated to the memory of Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Teixeira da Silva was held during the match between Liverpool and Bournemouth (first half 0:0). This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Both players died in a car accident in Spain on July 3. A one-minute silence was observed on the field before the match.

The spectators in the stands created a special installation featuring the players' numbers and initials: DJ20 and AS30. Additionally, banners addressed Diogo's family, namely his wife and three children.

There was an inscription saying, “Anfield will always be your home.” This emphasizes that the club and its fans stand by you in difficult times.

The event was organized to honor the memory of the players and to express condolences to their families.
