Former Spartak player Aleksandr Mostovoy commented on the possibility of Dejan Stankovich leaving his position as head coach of the "red-white" team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
In an interview with Sport-Express, Mostovoy emphasized that if Stankovich wishes, he can leave the team. At the same time, he stated that Spartak will not fall apart because this club has always existed and will continue to exist in the future; it does not matter who comes or goes.
Dejan Stankovich has been the head coach of Spartak since the summer of 2024. After the fourth round of the 2025/26 Russian Championship season, the "red-white" team occupies 11th place in the competition table with four points.
The current employment contract with the Serbian coach is scheduled until mid-2027. The team's future and results depend on the coach's performance, and confidence is placed in him.
