– First of all, I want to emphasize that we achieved a very important victory today. Why? Because our results have not been improving lately. In such a situation, the players' morale also declines, and a sense of psychological depression arises in the team. However, today my students managed to regain their mental strength, showed great will, and were able to secure three points.
In the first half, we created many opportunities. We tried to apply pressure from the flanks, but unfortunately, we couldn't convert our chances into goals. It should be noted that "Andijon" also played well on counterattacks, but we did not give them the opportunity to create dangerous situations.
In the second half, we played much more actively and aggressively, and eventually scored a goal. The opponent is not weak; they made dangerous attacks from the flanks. But fortunately, our defenders and goalkeeper played at a high level today and neutralized the opponent's attacks. The most important thing is that we secured three extremely important points, even if it was by a minimal score. Today's match proved that our team has not lost its fighting spirit. In the future, we will not abandon these principles and will enter every match to win, improving our situation in the tournament table, – said Boshkovich.
– Suhrob Izzatov usually plays as a midfielder, but today he played in the right back position and scored a goal. Why did you change his position?
– This decision was made based on his performance in training and the opponent's style. We develop a specific plan for each opponent. Suhrob was not fully fit, so we kept him on the bench and brought him on at the right time. Today, the opponent's flanks were quick, which is why I played Izzatov in midfield. Xondamir Mustafoqulov is a versatile player; he can play in several positions on the field. We brought him on for this purpose, and it paid off.
– Today you played with two forwards. But where is the third forward – Jorjevich? What is his condition?
– Yes, Jorjevich currently has an injury, so we are not taking the risk of putting him on the field. He is expected to fully recover and return to the squad soon. Mavlonqulov has been performing well in training, but our central forwards have not been able to capitalize on the opportunities. We give everyone a chance; we have many young and talented players, and the competition is strong. Hoshimov also performed excellently in training, and since he is in good form, we gave him the opportunity to play today. Other players will also get their chances.
