Lamin Yamal, one of the leaders of Barselona, has opposed the club's transfer policy. This was reported by El Nacional.
According to the source, the Catalans are working on bringing in a new player to strengthen the right-back position during the summer transfer window. Frenchman Jules Koundé currently occupies this position.
17-year-old Yamal emphasized that there is no need to acquire a new player for this wing. The Spanish footballer enjoys playing alongside Jules Koundé.
Yamal has also been performing effectively this season. He has appeared 31 times across all competitions, scoring 11 goals and providing 15 assists.
The player, valued at 180 million euros by Transfermarkt, has a contract that runs until the summer of 2026. The Barselona management plans to sign a long-term new deal with the player when he turns 18.
