Jamie Vardy will not retire from football: “I will continue until my legs tell me to stop”
The 38-year-old striker Jamie Vardy, who has become a legend in English football, has stated that he is not yet ready to say goodbye to football. The experienced forward, who gained fame with the "Leicester" club, can still surprise his fans.

“Football is an unbelievable world. No one knows what will happen tomorrow. As long as my legs don’t tell me to 'stop', I will keep going. For now, everything is in place,” Vardy said.

The great journey with the "Foxes"

Jamie Vardy has played in 35 matches for "Leicester" this season, contributing 9 goals and 4 assists to the team. At the end of April, he announced that he would leave "Leicester".

Having been brought in from the fifth division team "Fleetwood" for a total of 1 million pounds in 2012, Vardy became a true legend with "Leicester". Together with the team, he has won:

- Premier League Championship (2015/16),
- FA Cup,
- Community Shield,
- Championship (twice) among other major trophies.

Vardy - a late-blooming star, but a great striker

Although Jamie Vardy made his Premier League debut at the age of 27, he has managed to place himself among the leading strikers of all time. He has scored more goals than former Premier League stars like Didier Drogba, Cristiano Ronaldo, Ruud van Nistelrooy, and Luis Suárez.

In total, Vardy has scored 149 goals and provided 71 assists in 499 matches for "Leicester". These statistics make him one of the most influential players in the club's history.

“As long as the legs don’t stop, the journey continues”

Currently, Vardy has not made an official decision about where he will play in the future, but he is not yet ready to say goodbye to football.

The Zamin.uz editorial team continues to watch with interest how new chapters of football legends like Jamie Vardy are written. Where would you like to see him next? What are your thoughts on Vardy's career?
