One of the central matches of the 29th round of the Russian Premier League featured a Moscow derby where "Lokomotiv" faced off against SSKA at home. This match, rich in spectacular and intense struggles, ended without a winner, with both teams recording a 2:2 draw.
The match held at "RZD Arena" started with a fast-paced scenario. From the very first minutes, "Lokomotiv" displayed an attacking style of play, and these efforts quickly bore fruit. Once again, Dmitriy Vorobyov scored with a precise shot, bringing the score to 2:0.
In the second half, SSKA appeared on the field in a completely different manner. After the break, a quick goal from Saul Guarirapa restored the "army men’s" confidence. He reduced the score with a precise shot in the 47th minute – 2:1.
After this goal, the game intensified. Both teams put all their efforts into securing a victory. By the 80th minute, SSKA's pressure paid off. Matvey Kislyak scored with a brilliant shot, equalizing the score – 2:2.
No winner was determined until the end of the match. As a result, "Lokomotiv" missed an important victory at home, while SSKA, close to securing a win, ultimately settled for a draw.
Following this result, SSKA continues to fight for higher positions in the league table, while "Lokomotiv" missed the opportunity to get closer to the European cup zone.
