In particular, Michele Serena, a famous former player and coach of Serie A, shared his thoughts on the performances of the clubs «Venice» and «Verona» during the season.
Michele Serena noted that the season for both teams was extremely difficult and complex, and he specifically focused on their performances. According to him, if Eldor Shomurodov had joined «Venice» in the winter, the likelihood of the club avoiding relegation would have been very high.
«I believe that having a high-level striker like Eldor Shomurodov would have significantly strengthened the team. The failure to complete this transfer was a huge loss for the Venetians. I say this with regret because Shomurodov could have helped the team with crucial goals and assists during decisive moments of the season,» Serena emphasized.
It is worth noting that in the winter, «Venice» actively negotiated with «Roma» to add Eldor to their squad, and the player himself had also agreed to this transfer.
