According to the source, the Spanish coach had considered leaving the Premier League last summer. Guardiola had planned to manage the England national team, but the position was given to German specialist Thomas Tuchel.

For this reason, the "Citizens" coach decided to stay at Manchester City when there were no other options left. The journalist emphasized that Josep has not abandoned his plans and still intends to part ways with Manchester City after a long tenure.
