Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed when he will end his football career

Portugal national team forward and captain Cristiano Ronaldo shared his thoughts on his future ahead of the crucial match against Spain in the World Cup quarter-finals, as reported by Zamin.uz.
The experienced player brought clarity to ongoing questions about when he might end his international career, emphasizing that only he will decide when the time is right. At the same time, for the 39-year-old striker, the main goal is to get past Spain and secure a place in the semi-finals.
Speaking about his loyalty to the national team, Ronaldo recalled the feelings he had when he first wore the jersey at age eighteen, saying they remain unchanged. According to him, he has always stood with the team and is ready to help his teammates with all his strength, regardless of whether he plays or not.
The footballer considers defending his country's honor a supreme mission and has pledged to use every opportunity available to him in pursuit of that goal. Regarding the end of his career, he did not hide that he has faced pressure from teammates and journalists.
He stressed that only he can determine his fate and that he does not need anyone’s advice at this moment. In the captain’s view, repeatedly asking such questions is pointless, as he still feels strong and believes he can contribute on the field.
The striker openly stated that he is not currently thinking about retiring from big football. For now, all his focus is on the upcoming decisive match.
Ronaldo said that, compared to various discussions about his future, preparing for the game against Spain is more important. He emphasized that winning tomorrow’s match and advancing to the next stage is the team’s sole task.
The match between Portugal and Spain is scheduled for July 6. This game will undoubtedly be a major test for Ronaldo, and he aims to answer all questions through his performance on the pitch.
According to One.uz, the winner of this match will advance to the semi-finals of the World Cup.
