Umar Eshmurodov spoke about "Nasaf", the championship, Katanes, and Cheran

The current champion of the Super League "Nasaf" is in the final stages of preparation in Turkey.

"Dragons" have brought back several experienced players to the squad this year. In particular, Umar Eshmurodov has been recruited to the defense line. The player who played for Malaysia's "Selangor" last season will again defend the honor of the "dragons". Eshmurodov shared his thoughts on preparing for the new season.

- Of course. "Nasaf" will fight for the main prize in all tournaments this year as well. I can say that our gathering in Turkey was timely and beneficial for preparing for the season. We played in control matches against good teams. There is still some time before the start of the championship. Until then, we will correct our shortcomings and bring our physical condition to an optimal level.

- Which team do you see as a serious rival on the road to the championship?
- In the Super League, every match requires a serious approach to accumulate points. There are teams that have added good players to their ranks. I expect teams like "Pakhtakor", "Neftchi", "Navbahor", OKMK, and "Sogdiyona" to compete with us for the championship.

- This year, 3 teams from Kashkadarya will play in the Super League. What do you expect from the interesting derbies?
- There will undoubtedly be good derbies. Interest in football in Kashkadarya is very high. Here, I congratulate "Shurtan" and "Mash'al" on their promotion to the Super League.

- How many goals will Dragan Cheran and Rubin Khebay score this year?
- I won't predict how many goals they will score, but I believe they will be of great benefit to the team.

- You were the main defender during Katanes' time in the national team. What did you learn from him?
- Katanes helped us grow in many aspects. In particular, he showed that we still need to work a lot on the physical side. We are grateful to him for this and wish him good health. Every opponent in the upcoming matches is dangerous. We need to play orderly and accumulate maximum points.
