The President of Dagestan, Sergey Melikov, commented on the brawl during the friendly match between "Krasnodar" and Makhachkala "Dinamo" teams. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
In the 39th minute of the match, with the score 1:0 in favor of "Krasnodar," a mass confrontation began between the teams. As Melikov noted, "Dinamo" president Hadji Hadjiev spoke with Sergey Galitskiy regarding this incident.
The club leaders mutually agreed that those who started and participated in the brawl should be punished. The regional leader wrote on his Telegram channel that he fully supports this decision and that measures must be taken against the players involved in such situations.
Each of them is not just an ordinary player but the face of the club, and therefore it affects the reputation of Makhachkala "Dinamo" and all of Dagestan football. Additionally, Melikov strongly criticized the commentator's attitude towards the Caucasian teams, deeming such remarks unacceptable.
As a result of the match, "Krasnodar" won 4:1, and five players were sent off the field. This incident should serve as an important lesson for the teams regarding football culture and discipline.
