Sobolev may leave «Zenit» to join «Real»
Former “Zenit” player Denis Ugarov joked about striker Aleksandr Sobolev in an interview with the online publication “Evro-Futbol.Ru.” This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Ugarov analyzed Sobolev's current situation and his role in the team. He stated that Sobolev was a leader at the “Sochi” club, and then found his place in “Zenit” within a year.
However, he is not a true leader, but he is showing good results in scoring. Therefore, competition within the team is also of great importance. According to Ugarov, the team needs to part with at least two players.
“Zenit” may receive offers for Sobolev from good clubs. For example, major clubs like “Real,” “Barcelona,” or “Manchester United.”
Sobolev needs to prove himself at “Zenit” and now try his chances in Europe. 28-year-old Sobolev moved from “Spartak” to “Zenit” for the 2024/25 season, with a transfer fee of 10 million euros. Under the leadership of Sergey Semak, the striker played a total of 31 matches in all competitions, scoring 7 goals and providing 3 assists.
According to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated to be around 6 million euros. This figure reflects Sobolev's position and prospects within the team.
