Arshavin stated that if Vendel leaves the team, Zenit will need to bring in two midfielders and a central forward. Currently, there is no additional information on this matter. He played for Zenit for five seasons. In the last season, Zenit finished second in the Russian championship. The team, led by Sergey Semak, collected only one point less than Krasnodar.
