The specialist was asked to compare the current team composition with the "Spartak" team that finished second in the Russian Premier League under his leadership in 2009 and 2011/2012. Karpin emphasized that it is not correct to compare different periods and years. According to him, the current players are at least not weak, and the team is fighting for the championship.

"Comparing different periods is common, but this comparison is not correct. The current players are certainly not lacking, and we hope to become champions," Karpin stated in an interview with "Match TV." Last season, the "Dinamo" team finished fifth in the Russian championship.

The team concluded the season under head coach Roland Gusev after the club ended its relationship with Marcel Lichka. This result signifies new stages for the team and highlights the importance of continuing to strive towards future goals.
