Zenit team has fully purchased the contract of Zherson from Flamengo club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
This was announced by the Carlos Leite Sports agency, which represents the player's interests. Agency representatives confirmed this information and stated that Zenit has activated all contract clauses. The 28-year-old central midfielder Zherson has been playing for Flamengo since 2022.
He participated in the Club World Championship held in the USA in 2025 as part of the team. The player's transfer value is estimated at 25 million euros, and Zenit paid this amount in full at once. In the 2024/2025 season, Zherson played a total of 28 matches in all club competitions, scoring 2 goals and providing 4 assists.
Additionally, he also stood out with one goal in the Club World Championship match. Thus, Zenit's move will be an important reinforcement for the team.
