Angel Di Maria has concluded his career in Europe

The Argentine winger Angel di Maria has returned to his homeland Argentina and will now represent the "Rosario Central" team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The 37-year-old player played for Portugal's "Benfica" until the end of June, but after his contract expired, he left the team as a free agent. Di Maria stated on social media that he is concluding his European career and returning to his homeland.

He emphasized that he has lived in beautiful cities and played for amazing clubs for eighteen years until today. During this time, he faced many difficulties and failures, but they have turned him into the strong player he is today.

Expressing gratitude to each club: "Benfica," "Real" Madrid, "Manchester United," "PSG," and "Juventus" helped him grow both personally and professionally. Remembering the wonderful people and friendships formed in each team, he said he would never forget them.

Although Di Maria scored in his last game for "Benfica," his team could not avoid a 1:4 defeat to "Chelsea." Thus, he decided to continue his career in his homeland.
