Cherchesov did not doubt Zabolotny's age
Famous coach Stanislav Cherchesov expressed his opinion about Anton Zabolotny. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He moved to the "Spartak" team on the first day of July. However, not all fans rated this transfer positively due to the striker's age of 34.
Cherchesov advised fans not to look at Zabolotny's passport. According to the former head coach of "Spartak," the striker is in good physical condition.
"If everything is done correctly, any player can be beneficial at a certain time. Zabolotny's physiological age is 7-8 years less than what is in his passport.
He is demonstrating his strength," Cherchesov said to "Match TV." In the new season, "Spartak" will play its first match in a few weeks, possibly on July 19 or 20.
The team's first-round opponent will be Makhachkala's "Dinamo" team. Under the management of Dejan Stankovic, "Spartak" aims to achieve good results in the new season.
