Mostovoy: Chilean footballers have an advantage in competition

Former player of Spain's "Celta" and the capital's "Spartak" team, Alexander Mostovoy shared his thoughts on a potential match between the Russian and Chilean national teams. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to him, the Chilean national team is considered a good opponent. Recently, the Chilean team has not been performing well, but they are a footballing nation.

Chile is known as a country with footballers, not hotel staff. These thoughts were presented in the publication "Championat."

The Russian national team has not been able to hold official matches since February 2022 due to international sanctions. In their last friendly match, the team led by Valery Karpin took to the field against the Belarus national team in Minsk and achieved a significant victory with a score of 4:1.
