The forward of Algeria's "Kabylie" football club, Ivan Ignatyev, expressed his desire to return to the Russian championship. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He stated that several clubs have shown interest in him, but so far, it has only remained talk. According to Ignatyev, the level of the Russian Premier League is significantly higher than that of the Algerian championship, which is why he wants to test himself there.
Ivan Ignatyev joined the "Kabylie" team in the winter of 2025 after leaving the "Urartu" club in Yerevan. He previously played in Russia for "Rubin" (Kazan), "Kryl'ya Sovetov", "Lokomotiv" (Moscow), and "Sochi", as well as for the Serbian team "Zheleznichar Panchevo".
He has managed to score a total of five goals in 15 matches of the national championship while playing for "Kabylie". Ignatyev's goal is to showcase himself again in the Russian championship and continue playing at a high level.
He hopes to continue his career in Russia in the future and is waiting for offers in this regard. The Russian Premier League remains attractive for experienced players.
