The summer transfer window in Russia opens on June 20 and lasts until September 11. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Before the player exchange season, the greatest attention is focused on the Moscow "Spartak" team. This team is considered one of the potential leaders of the Russian championship.
Despite being responsible for transfers, the "Red-White" team's sports director Fransis Kahigao has not yet achieved significant successes. In this window, "Spartak" has only signed one new player – striker Anton Zabolotny.
At the same time, the club's management faced failure in acquiring "Krylya Sovetov" leader Ivan Sergeev, as he recently signed a three-year contract with "Dinamo." Additionally, attempts to purchase Nikolay Komlichenko from "Rostov" also ended unsuccessfully – he moved to "Lokomotiv."
Currently, the club is looking for new players for several priority positions. The most important task is to retain the team leaders.
Meanwhile, the staff led by Serbian coach Deyan Stankovich is testing optimal game connections in friendly matches and is waiting for the arrival of new players. Detailed information about who might join "Spartak" during this transfer window is provided below.
Strengthening the defense is considered the most important task for Stankovich. Last season, the "Red-White" team faced problems in the defensive line.
The coach tried various combinations in defense, but it was difficult to find a companion for central defender Srdyan Babich. Babich performed well, but his partner Ruslan Litvinov lacks speed and tactical awareness, as his primary position is midfielder.
In the summer, central defender Myenti Abena left the team, and Aleksis Duarte may also leave, as he wants to continue his career in Latin America. "Spartak" is currently searching for a new player to strengthen the defense, but there is no information about active efforts.
There is also a need for renewal in the defensive wings. Especially, right-back Daniil Denisov is inconsistent and sometimes makes mistakes.
Daniil Khlusevich does not fit into the coach's plans, so he may also leave. Although Roman Zobnin sometimes plays on the right wing, it is not his primary position.
For this reason, "Spartak" is actively searching for a right-back. The club has shown interest in Gaston Martirena from Argentina, but negotiations have stalled due to his injury.
Additionally, an offer to purchase Gomez from "Braga" was rejected. Currently, "Spartak" is interested in Bahtiyor Zaynutdinov from "Besiktas," who can play in several positions, including as a right-back.
The club wants to buy him for 3 million euros, but the Turkish club is demanding at least 5 million. Negotiations to purchase Ilya Samoshnikov from "Lokomotiv" are ongoing, but his agent has stated that there are currently no offers.
Another new player for the defense is being pointed out as Uruguayan Santiago Mourinyo from "Alaves." Additionally, Ramiro Di Lusiano from "Banfield" has been offered, but the club is not interested due to his youth.
Thus, Stankovich may start the season without new defenders, but they need to be found by September. In the midfield, an effective trio has formed consisting of Na’il Umyarov, Esekyel Barko, and Kristofer Martins.
Umyarov has been developed by the coach and is the main decision-maker at the start of the team's attacks. Barko is the star and leader of the team, having accumulated 19 points last season.
Martins has also improved his statistics as a striker, scoring 9 goals and providing 5 assists. However, Barko's situation in Brazil...
