Kanchelskis: Russian football players go to Europe less often

Former Russian national team player Andrey Kanchelskis shared his thoughts on the mentality of Russian football players in an interview with the online publication “Euro-Futbol.Ru.” This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to him, there are players among those in the Russian Premier League who do not lose themselves in Europe. However, they often sit at home waiting for big contracts and a place in the starting lineup from their clubs.

This situation does not exist in Europe, but such opportunities are available in Russia. For this reason, many players do not want to go abroad.

The Russian championship will start on July 18. The first match of the 2025/26 season will be held at Moscow's "Dinamo" stadium against "Baltika."

The match will take place at the "VTB Arena" stadium in Moscow and will start at 20:30.
