Krasnodar team captain and Armenian national team player Eduard Spertsyan has refused to move to Southgempton, a club participating in England's Championship league. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

An internal source, Ivan Karpov, announced this on his Telegram channel. According to the source, the English club did not attempt to contact the Krasnodar management to discuss the transfer issue, as Spertsyan's refusal was clear and firm.

Spertsyan was trained at the Krasnodar academy. Last season, during the season when Krasnodar won the Russian Premier League championship, the midfielder played in 28 matches, scored 11 goals, and provided 6 assists.
