Inter Miami is planning to finalize the transfer of Atletico Madrid midfielder Rodrigo De Paul in the near future. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The Argentine player wants to play alongside his compatriot Lionel Messi, which has made negotiations much easier. According to journalist Martin Arevalo, if all conditions are met, Inter Miami could officially complete this transfer within the next week.
Currently, the likelihood of the contract being finalized is high. Atletico Madrid will earn approximately 15 million dollars, or around 13 million euros, from the sale of the 31-year-old player.
Rodrigo De Paul’s current contract expires next summer. Therefore, an agreement between the teams is expected to be reached soon.
This transfer is considered an important step for Inter Miami.
